Products and Services

CompCare believes that a confidential, quality EAP promotes the health and well-being of individuals while enhancing their productivity and workplace effectiveness. Ultimately, EAP and Worklife/Dependent Care services will result in long-term cost savings for the employers who purchase these programs.

Our EAP and Worklife/Dependent Care services are structured on a flexible, modular basis, enabling our clients to select the EAP on a stand-alone basis or integrated with our Managed Behavioral Healthcare programs. Through regional partners that provide consistent, high-quality services, we offer an array of program components to meet your employees' needs. Employers are able to custom design specific programs aspects that best fit the needs of their membership. Employers have the option of including Worklife services and Dependent Care services, as well as training and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). To help promote EAP services, CompCare provides on-site management and employee orientation and customized member brochures and materials.

  • Easy Access to EAP Services
Members call CompCare's centralized Access Center through a dedicated, toll-free line. Regardless of when members call, any time day or night, they are immediately connected to a professional with both the clinical and EAP-specific skills to ensure an appropriate, rapid referral. Our Masters-level Employee Support Specialists (ESS) are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to members who call the Access Center. These seasoned professionals have both clinical and workplace experience-many have CEAP (Certified Employee Assistance Professional) certification.

  • Early Problem Identification
By offering services that address a wide-ranging number of issues, our EAP serves as a proactive tool of primary prevention that reduces the possibility of routine problems escalating to serious, diagnosable conditions. Our EAP is intended to provide early problem identification for a comprehensive number of issues, including but not limited to:
    • Personal, family and emotional problems
    • Marital problems
    • Work-related problems
    • Problems dealing with grief and loss
  • Crisis Assistance
When the member is in crisis, the ESS will immediately arrange for the appropriate intervention to ensure the member's safety. If the EAP benefit is integrated with our behavioral healthcare Mental Health Substance Abuse (MHSA) program, the member will receive immediate referral for an assessment and stabilization in one of our network facilities. As the safety of our members is always of paramount importance, we utilize systems that support members in crisis and that make certain the member receives the necessary care.

  • EAP Affiliate Provider Network
CompCare EAP specialty providers are strategically located to ensure efficient service to our clients. They are independently licensed clinicians who must also meet the EAP credentialing criteria established by EAPA (Employee Assistance Professional Association) standards. In addition to certification as CEAPs, CompCare contracts with providers with SAP (Substance Abuse Professional) certification, required for those customers with members who are regulated by the DOT (Department of Transportation).

  • Worklife and Dependent Care Services
These comprehensive services are provided to augment the effectiveness of the EAP. Members can access Worklife and/or Dependent Care Services by calling the Access Center.

  • Referrals to Pre-qualified Resources For Worklife/Dependent Care Services
Members who access these services will always be referred to the most qualified providers. All referral resources are pre-qualified to ensure availability, licensure, adherence to state-specific regulatory requirements, reasonable cost and any personal requirements identified by the member. Referrals are made for:
    • Legal Services
    • Child Care Services
    • Elder Care Services
    • Wellness Programs
    • Convenience and Concierge Services
